It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melanie A Scharn of Atkinson, New Hampshire, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melanie A Scharn to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Rene, Doris Mignault, Kay and Frank Phair. She is survived by: her parents, Janet Phair and Alan Phair; her husband James Scharn; her daughters, Hayley Tammany (Benjamin) and Kathryn Scharn (Matt Ciampa); her grandchildren, Maverick, Ruby, Crawford and Atlas; her brother Chris Phair (Michele); and her sibling's children, Kiara and Isabella. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carrier Funeral Home (38 Range Rd, Windham, NH 03087). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mary Queen of Peace Church (200 Lawrence Rd, Salem, NH 03079). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall (37 Main St, Salem, NH 03079).
