He was predeceased by : his parents, Margaret Elizabeth (Hines) and Richard George Wood; his former life partner Carol Ann; and his brother John "Jack" Milton Wood. He is survived by : his wife Ruth Wood (Harris); his children, Karen A. Wood and Rick Wood Jr. (Kris); and his stepchildren, Barbara Gibeson, Dean A. Ward, Pam K. Landa and Dwayne L. Thornton. He is also survived by his grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
