We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Vernon C. MacNeill Jr. of Atkinson, New Hampshire. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Vernon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Vernon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon C. MacNeill and Doris E. MacNeill (Lindsay). He is survived by: his wife Marion MacNeill (Stone); and his children, Laurie Schneider (Dennis) of Santee, CA, Susan Shea (Richard) of Portsmouth, NH, Jonathan of Atkinson, NH and Douglas of Atkinson, NH. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home (116 Main St, Plaistow, NH 03865). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at the Atkinson Congregational Church (101 Main St, Atkinson, NH 03811).
