He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Martel and Pauline Martel (Labrie); his wife Ruth "Snookie" Martel (Burdell); his siblings, Rita (John Chase), Pauline (Gerry Lemieux), Theresa Hartford, Pete (Betty), Ray (Audrey), Paul (Kay) and Richard (Susan); and his sister-in-law Yvonne "Birdie" Martel.
He is survived by: his children, Dana (Celeste Martel), Diane (Paul LaPete), Susan Reid of Malabar, FL, Sheila (Frank O'Connor), Russell Martel (Kathy Sedlock) and Paula Martel of Penacook, NH.; his brothers, Robert Martel of Dover, NH and Bert (Louise Martel); and his brother-in-law Gerry Hartford. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren and his first Great Great Grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Riverside Rest Home Activities Department or the Alzheimers Association.
