It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Church Hubbard (Bedford, New Hampshire), who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Elaine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elaine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Stimpson and Gladys Lorentz Hubbard; and her brother Horace Atwell Hubbard. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, among many other family members and wonderful, lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to the Elaine C. Hubbard Center for Nursing Research on Aging at the University of Rochester School of Nursing, or the Pittsford Community Church.
