In the sacred silence of farewell, Irene is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Irene's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred A. Duhamel Jr. and Veronique L. Duhamel (Dumas). She is survived by: her husband Roland H. Paradis Sr.; and her children, Diane Raynor (Paul) of Weare, Roland Paradis (Suzanne), Cathy Carpenter (Peter) of Hopkinton, Renee Bowen (Brian) and Sharon Galatas (Serafim) of Bedford. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium - Hanover (243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH 03104). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Church (190 Meetinghouse Rd, Bedford, NH 03110). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (474 Goffstown Rd, Manchester, NH 03102).
In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name may be made to The Salvation Army in Manchester or The Liberty House in Manchester, which was founded by her late brother, Donald Duhamel.
