He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Raised (Contryman) and Jerome Lapham Sr. Raised; and his brother Charles Lapham. He is survived by: his wife Diane Lapham; and his children, Kristen Lapham, Scott Lapham and J. Lapham. He is also survived by his five stepchildren and their spouses; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
