She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Helmis and Antigone Helmis (Economedes); her spouse Cleanthes Tsorvas; and her son Stephen Tsorvas. She is survived by: her children, Ernie Tsorvas (Molly) of Naperville, IL and Anna Maria Tsorvas; her grandchildren, Christiana Pike, Bridgette Pike, Nicholas Tsorvas, Alexandra Tsorvas and Audrey Gilbert; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Tingley and Grant Tingley; her daughter-in-law Adriana Ugas Tsorvas of Milford, CT.; Marie Coppotelli.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nitsa's memory to St. Nicholas Church prayer garden.
