With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thaddeus J. Bara of Bedford, New Hampshire, who passed away on May 10, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Thaddeus has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus Bara and Marion Bara (Sherry); and his sisters, Marion Cannata and Dorothy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Bara (Silakoski); his children, Michael Bara (Leonilda) of New Ipswich, Jeffry Bara (Tami) of New Ipswich, Thomas Bara of Antrim and Beverly Bara of Bedford; and his sisters, Sophie Benzinger and Carol Ann Narcavage. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center (537 Union St, Manchester, NH 03104). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Elizabeth Seton (190 Meetinghouse Rd, Bedford, NH 03110).
