The memory of Albert John Akerstrom III of Belmont, New Hampshire, who passed away on September 16, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Akerstrom II and Arlene Akerstrom (Bosselait); his sisters, Barbara Cailler and Alyce Jewell; and his niece Laurie Cailler.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Akerstrom (Wiles); his sons, Mark Akerstrom (Sharon) and Robert Akerstrom (Lisa); his grandchild Madison; his children, Stephen Akerstrom (Sarah) and Rebekah Cullen (Jason); his grandchildren, Travis (Emily), Landon, Lucy, Noah, Natalee, Jacob and Emma; and his brother Andrew Akerstrom (Sabra). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home (164 Pleasant St, Laconia, NH 03246). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Parish (96 Main St, Belmont, NH 03220).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation in memory of Albert Akerstrom, 14 Country Club Rd. Gilford, NH 03249.
