Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence LaFave and Margaret LaFave (Muise); and his siblings, Jim LaFave, Robert LaFave, David LaFave, Edward LaFave and Marion Muise.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen A. (Gaffney); his children, Mark LaFave (Lucy) of Contoocook, NH and Laurel Proulx (Bill) of Manchester, NH; and his grandchildren, Anna and William Proulx. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home (116 Main St, Plaistow, NH 03865). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
