He is survived by : his husband David Syrek of Candia; his siblings, Valerie Buffone (Peter) of Millbury, Michael Smith (Brenda) of Oxford, John Smith (Lisa) of Worcester, Nancy Metivier (Joseph) of Sterling, William Smith (Kim) of Milford, David Smith (Noni) of Worcester and Christopher Smith (Jacqueline) of Scituate; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Buffone, Joshua Smith, Meghan St (Smith), Joseph Metivier, Jesse Metivier, Lauren Metivier, Kristy Smith, Daniel Smith, Tyger Smith, Ace Smith and Burke Smith; and his friends, Debralee, Robin, Roberta, Jonathan, Cathy and Lacey (Mike). He is also survived by ten great nieces and nephews.
