He was predeceased by : his significant other Gloria Buswell; his parents, Robert Buswell and Louise Hobbs; his brother Dick Buswell; and his grandson Shawn P. Bell.

He is survived by : his children, Robert, Donna (Bo), Michelle (Jim) and Jessica; his niece Sarah; his sister Sandra Kenney; and his close friend Sharon Libby. He is also survived by his extended family, including several nieces and nephews.
