Jarod Hamel Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jarod Hamel (Chester, New Hampshire), born in Concord, New Hampshire, who passed away on August 29, 2025 at the age of 43. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jarod Hamel to pay them a last tribute.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Jarod find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Norman, Shirley Hamel, Richard and Phyllis Bailey; and his stepfather Arthur Scruton.

He is survived by: his caregiver Sherry; his parents, Wayne Hamel of Chester and Cathleen Bailey-Scruton of Pembroke; his brother Wayne Bailey (Tonya) of Deerfield; and his nephew Jason Morrill of Contoocook. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many friends including his trucker family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 28 Edwards Mill Road, Chester, NH 03046.
