He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Otis Reed and Charlotte Reed (Monette); his wife Patricia Bruce; his daughters, April Clark (Jason) of Keene and Melissa Reed of Portland, Oregon; his siblings, Robert Reed (Cindy) of Camden, Bruce Reed (Linda) of Plattsburg and Priscilla LaValley (Kenneth) of Ellenburg Depot; and his aunts, Roberta Monette and Bertha Monette. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
