She is survived by: her husband Devin Lucero; her children, Addison and Chase; her parents, John Gauthier and Diana Gauthier; her sisters, Kelsey Krahe and Paige MacLeay; her brothers-in-law, Mark Krahe and Nick MacLeay; and her brother Ryan Gauthier. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Darcie's memory to the Lucero family to assist with the children's future college education, or to the Jack Byrnes Center for Palliative & Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH, where she was cared for around the clock by an extraordinary team of nurses and doctors.
