It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Blake of Claremont, New Hampshire, who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie and George; his girlfriend Natalie Mitchell; his son David Blake; and his sisters, Millie Blake, Lillian Hull, Annie Wilson and Dot Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughter Laura Blake; and his stepchildren, Brian Mitchell, Scott Mitchell and Cheryl Mitchell Aubin. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and six great grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stringers Funeral Home (146 Broad St, Claremont, NH 03743). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stringer Funeral Home (146 Broad St, Claremont, NH 03743). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at the Mt. View Cemetery.
