He was predeceased by : his parents, James L. Packard and Lucille M Packard (Putney); his wife Jean Packard (Robinson); and his granddaughter Scotlynn Silfies. He is survived by : his children, Stuart D. Packard of Claremont, Wendy J. Luck (Robert) of Newport and Shelby Lowery (Robbie) of Charlestown; and his grandson Joshua Kendall Luck (Rae) of Sunapee, NH..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory, to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Claremont Soup Kitchen.
