He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sluben and Pauline Sluben (Grainger); his brother-in-law William Mackenzie (Bill); and the mother of his children Eleanor "Honey" Collimore Sluben. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth McCarthy (Dennis) of Melrose, MA, Karen Rosania (Rick) of Portsmouth, NH, Richard J. Sluben, Jr. (Carolina (Caroline) Salvatierra) of Ludlow, MA and William Sluben (Laureen) of Marietta, GA.; his sister Maureen Mackenzie of Manomet, MA; and his close friends, Penelope Arcone of Meriden, NH and Lydia Harvey of St. Johnsbury, VT. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and a wide circle of relatives and friends.
