He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward P. Benware and Rose Benware (Gregorie); and his wife Joyce Benware (Murgatroy). He is survived by: his siblings, Rose Campbell, Joseph, Arthur and Alfred; his sons, George E. Benware and Wilfred "Ben" Benware; his grandsons, Steven Benware and Brandon Melcher; his close friend Janice Bushey of Claremont; his children, Allan Benware (Sue) of Rural Retreat, VA, Daniel Benware (Anna) of Claremont, Douglas Benware, Ernest Benware of Lehigh Acres, FL, Brian Benware (Mary) of Claremont and Vivian Melcher (Richard) of Cocoa Beach, FL; and his daughter-in-law Terry Benware of Brighton, IL.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
