She is survived by: her children, William Hauser (JoAnn Willemssen), Kenneth (Martha Hauser), Joseph Standley (Michael Hauser) of Danvers, MA and Simone Rueschemeyer of Stowe, VT.; her grandchildren, Justin, Lindsey, Joseph, Thomas, Marley and Rory; and her great grandchildren, Camryn, Vivian, Evelyn, Jackson, Landon and Paige.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations in Alva's name may be made to the National Wildlife Federation, Concordia Lutheran Church – Worship & Music Committee, 211 North Main Street, Concord, NH or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
