It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christen Monica McCarthy of Concord, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Christen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Christen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother JoAnna McCarthy. She is survived by: her father Maurice McCarthy; her sisters, Tracie (Bryan) and Patricia McCarthy of Waterbury; and her nephews, Robert (Michelle), Daniel (Olivia) and William. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire (615 S Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (74 W Main St, Waterbury, CT 06702).
