She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlisle Lurvey and Hazel Lurvey (Wishart); and her brother Carlisle "Sonny" Lurvey, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Barton of Hudson, MA, Lewis Barton, Jr. (Paige) of Stanley, NC and Steve Barton (Deborah) of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a local Humane Society in Betty's memory.
