It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Edward Wimsatt of Concord, New Hampshire, born in Bardstown, Kentucky, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Bradley and Mary Theresa Wimsatt (Yates); and his siblings, Louise Rapier Thompson, Josephine Edelen, Mary Wimsatt, Johnny, Arthur, Gene and Leon Wimsatt.

He is survived by : his significant other Pauline Marie Louise Desmarais; his siblings, Bev Wimsatt (Mary Annette) of Bardstown, KY, Marie "Totsy" Grigsby of Bardstown, KY, Geri Werkman of Bardstown, KY, Earl "Duke" Wimsatt (Rosie) of Fairborn, OH and Barbara Nett (Carl) of Eastview, KY.; his children, Colleen Sharka (Bill) of Roslindale, MA, Michael Wimsatt (Chiara) of Concord, John Wimsatt (Cathy) of Northwood and Jennifer Bartlett (Douglas) of Wilmot; his grandchildren, Meredith (Dana), AJ (Sara), Zeb (Bess), Cole, Della, Brett (Colleen), Alex (Mamie), Evan (Mackenzie), Megan, Connor and Leighton; and his great grandchildren, Easton and Kellyanne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
