He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Swope Jr. and Marjorie Lincoln Swope (Park); his wife Marjory Mason; and his brothers, Gerard L. Swope and Stephen P. Swope.
He is survived by: his children, Kristin Swope of Framingham, MA, Kevin A. Swope of Framingham, MA and John G. Swope of Staunton, VA; and his grandson Andrew D. Swope.
