He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy George and Georgia George (Martin); his wife Priscilla George (Pierce); and his siblings, Marilyn English and Leonard George.

He is survived by: his children, Roy George (Hope) of Hillsborough, NH, Philip George of Alstead, NH, Sharon Hamilton (Tim) of Bangor, ME and Stephen George (Tammy) of Hartland, ME; and his sisters, Ruth Senzel and Faith George McNeal.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Baptist Church of Concord, NH or The American Baptist Churches of Vermont/New Hampshire.
