She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Russell and Mary Russell (Grigas); her children, Janine M. Averka and Francis E. Averka Jr.; and her close friends, Robert Flagg and William Robinson.
She is survived by: her daughter Diana P. Dones (Allen B. Dones); and her sister Joan P. Rossi (Andrew Rossi).
