She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Foster and Patricia Foster (Ash); her husband Jack M. Mitchell; and her brother Howard Foster. She is survived by: her children, Richard Mitchell (Judy) of Pembroke, Jack Mitchell, Jr. of Sanbornton and Michele Mitchell of Tilton; her granddaughters, Holly Ruggles (Jared) of New Boston and Natalie Mitchell of Boston, MA; and her siblings, Penny Cornelier, Roberta Matthews and Alan "Chucky" Foster.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Roan Family Funeral Home (167 Main St, Pembroke, NH 03275).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nellie's memory may be made to NH Food Bank or Habitat for Humanity for NH.
