He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl George and Alice George (Bartlett); his wife Eleanor George (Gelinas); and his brothers, Charlie and Lenny George.
He is survived by: his children, Linda George of Hartsville, SC, Donna George of Hartsville, SC and Richard George, Jr. of Concord; his grandchildren, Zane George, Miranda Murphy and Richard George, III; and his great grandchild Lyanna George. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
