It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruthanne Swanson in Concord, New Hampshire, who passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Whittier and Gertrude Whittier (Emerson) of Weare, NH.; her husband Robert Swanson; her son Edward Durham; her grandson Joel Durham, Jr.; and her brothers, Fred, Bruce and Mikey.

She is survived by: her son Joel Durham (Cindi); her stepdaughters, Anita Wagner and Sandra Fisher; her grandchildren, Angela Case, Carrie Childs, Elissa Moriarty and Edward Durham (David Wagner); her great grandchildren, Elsa, Ava Childs, Avery and Eloise Moriarty; her brother Pat; and her nieces, Kristen Morse, Erika Folliard, Courtney McGee and Lura Whittier. She is also survived by many other cousins and friends.
