He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Sword. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Sword Scofield and Walter P. Sword Jr.; and his sister Jane Sword Fortier. He is also survived by stepchildren, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bennett Funeral Home (209 N Main St, Concord, NH 03301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to a charity of one's choice in Walter's memory.
