With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley George of Contoocook, New Hampshire, who passed away on July 25, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Shirley farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Shirley is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Woodard and Eva Woodard (Tilton); her husband Bruce C. George; and her child Carleton George of New Hampshire. She is survived by: her sons, Brian George of Concord, Dana George of San Francisco and Kevin George (Kristie) of Manchester; her granddaughter Lisa (Katie); and her stepgrandchildren, Christian, Joshua and Kristy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
