He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Sr. Tyler and Hazel Tyler (Sager); his former wives, Olene J. Tyler (Cluff) and Isabel Maldonado; his wife Claudette Tyler (Mendes); and his granddaughter Ashli Vandenbroeke.
He is survived by: his children, Donald (Elaine), Jeffrey (Rosita) and Deborah (Jeff McCutchan) of Mesa, AZ; his grandchildren, Cassie, Emily, Kayla, Joshua and Gary; his great grandchildren, Leah and Olivia; and his stepgrandchildren, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Elizabeth and Ben. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
