It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Mary (Burke) DeSimone of Derry, New Hampshire, born in Arlington, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Burke (Mahoney) and James Burke; and her husband Frank Anthony DeSimone. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Mary Stanigar of Boynton Beach, FL and Anthony Frank DeSimone (Beth) of Hampstead, NH; her grandchildren, Nicholas Crosier, Emily Crosier, Riley Morris and Brady DeSimone; and her sister Edwina Marcus (Hank). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Parish (2 Searles Rd, Windham, NH 03087).
