He is survived by: his parents, Loralyn Hanson (Kimball) and Douglas Hanson of Sandown; and his siblings, Kristina Wagnitz (family: Jaclyn Freeman) of Atkinson, Mindy Moutoux of Pataskala and Joshua Stone of Flagstaff. He is also survived by three nephews and four nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Daniel's honor to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, designated for manatee conservation — a cause and a place that brought him great joy.
