He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Margolis and Molly Margolis (Shmilovitch). He is survived by: his wife Andrea Margolis of Derry; his children, Jessica Margolis of Derry, Peter Margolis (Naomi) of Penacook, NH and Alan Zappala (Paula) of Laconia, NH; and his grandchildren, Ava, Clara, Cheyanne and Shawn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
