He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and E. Catherine Butterfield (Picard). He is survived by: his sisters, Ernestine Moore of Manchester, NH, Nancy Butterfield of Derry, Gloria Scott of Derry and Valary Carr of Brookfield, VT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
