We announce the death of Jonathan C. Kay of Derry, New Hampshire, who passed away on October 28, 2026, at the age of 46. Jonathan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Jonathan will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Jonathan will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Jonathan’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his parents, Robert E. Kay and Ruth M. Kay (Borrelli); his children, Cameron Kay of Hickory, NC, Christopher Kay of Hickory, NC and Sarah Kay of Hickory, NC; and his brothers, Jason Kay (Brenda) of Manchester, Jeremy Kay (Meagan) of Palm Harbor, FL and Joseph Kay (Samantha Chen) of St. Carlos, CA. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium (15 Birch St, Derry, NH 03038). A prayer will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to The American Diabetes Association or the American Stroke Foundation.
