Robert E. Farland Sr. Obituary
We announce the death of Robert E. Farland Sr. of Derry, New Hampshire, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 91. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Gail Farland; his wife Shirley Matteuzzi Farland; his sons, Anthony and Joseph Farland; and his stepson Richard Matteuzzi.
He is survived by: his children, Robert E. Farland, Jr. (Terry) of Rochester, NH, Loretta Beattie (Allen) of Sandown, NH, Katherine Moore (late Don) of Franklin, NH and Victoria Cassidy (James) of Allenstown; and his daughter-in-law Kerry Farland of Derry. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium (15 Birch St, Derry, NH 03038). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
