With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Johnston Mallen of Dover, New Hampshire, born in Atkinson, New Hampshire, who passed away on September 8, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Susan Johnston Mallen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Mallen and Mildred Mallen (Johnston); and her brother-in-law Roger Buchika. She is survived by: her siblings, Jane Buchika of Jupiter, FL, Barbara Smith Hayes (Jim) of Naples, FL, Betsy Mallen of Port St, Nancy Krasnoo of Framingham, MA and Richard Mallen (Annette) of Dartmouth, MA.; and her siblings' children, Abby French, Rob Smith, Kathryn Sottak and Ellen Sottak. She is also survived by cousins; and friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Parish Congregational Church (218 Central Ave, Dover, NH 03820).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pope Memorial Humane Society, 221 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 03820, in support of providing care and shelter to animals.
