With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James P O'Rourke Jr. in Dublin, New Hampshire, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may James find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He is survived by: his parents, James P. O'Rourke and Claire R. O'Rourke; his wife Emily Valle O'Rourke; his children, Joseph Liam O'Rourke and Thea Anne O'Rourke; and his siblings, Tom (Edie O'Rourke) of Boonville, Michael O'Rourke (Jeremy Carling) of Redding, U. K., Anne (Kyle Stephenson) of Richmond, VA and Pat (Ruth O'Rourke) of Havertown, PA. He is also survived by 14 nephews and nieces and one great-niece.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Assembly Row (360 Foley St, Somerville, MA 02145).
