He was predeceased by: his parents, John Macedo and Lillian Macedo; his wife Elaine Chase; his brothers, Richard and Carl; and his son-in-law John Ponte.
He is survived by: his children, John Reed (Cindy), Robin Lee Ponte, Russell Alan (Helen) and Michael Anthony (Lesa); and his sister-in-law Barbara Macedo. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
