She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth L. Merrifield Sr. and Theresa Merrifield (Perrault); her husband Fred R. Towne Sr.; and her siblings, Bette Haggett, Gail Wenzel, Eleanor Smith and Russell Merrifield Sr..
She is survived by: her friend Jeanette Heffernan; her sons, Fred R. Towne Jr. (Jennifer Robles) and Chad Towne (Tara); her grandchildren, Shaylee, Alexander, Lucas, Calynn, Aubree, Benjamin and Cooper; and her brother Kenneth Merrifield Jr. (Marie). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Brewitt Funeral Home (9 Pleasant St, Epping, NH 03042). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
