He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett W. Barton and Susan M. Barton (Eagles); his wife Carolyn A. Barton (Blanchard); his daughter Christine S. Barton; his siblings, Everett Barton, Jr., George Barton, June Barton and Virginia Carberry; and his stepdaughter Gina.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen F. Barton, Matthew C. Barton, Linda Alaimo and Karen S. Barton Brown; his stepdaughters, Holly and Phyllis (Glen); his son-in-law Jim Alaimo; his grandchildren, Emily Barton, Justin Fariel, Brittany Owens (Donnie) and Ian Fariel (Iman); his great grandchildren, Carter Owens and Avery Fariel; his nephew Wayne Blanchard; his nieces, Debbie Blanchard, Pat and Debbie Barton; and his brother David Newton (Mickey). He is also survived by other extended family members and his dear friend.
