He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar J. Lavoie and Barbara Lavoie (Desmarais); his wife Jeanine Lavoie (Lascelle); and his daughter Cami Lavoie. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Lavoie; his stepchildren, Jodi Abbott (Sally) and Jason Abbott (Kristen); his brother Pierre Lavoie (Caroline); and his friend Betty St. Germain. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
