He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kurtz and Mildred Kurtz; his wife Barbara Ann (Leggitt); and his siblings, Albert L. Kurtz III, Eugene and Patricia Dever.
He is survived by: his children, Julia O'Connor of Wellesley and Arthur V. Kurtz, Jr. of Bedford; his daughter-in-law Tao Kurtz of Bedford; and his grandchildren, Gregory O'Connor (Anna) of New York City, William O'Connor of Wellesley and Mia Kurtz of Bedford.
