He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles O Gauvin and Mary Gauvin (Kittridge); his wife Eva Janosz Gauvin; and his siblings, Joseph J. Gauvin, Florence Manning and Veronica Burke.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Munroe of Daytona Beach, FL, Nancy Fickett (William) of Naples, FL and Linda DeGrandpre of Freeport, ME.; and his grandchildren, Abby Munroe, Lindsay, Hayley Fickett, Michael, Sarah, Elizabeth and Matthew DeGrandpre. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
