We bid farewell to Rene G. Cardinal of Farmington, New Hampshire, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 22, 2025 at the age of 78. Rene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rene G. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Cardinal and Yvette Cardinal (Lamontagne); his brother Wayne Cardinal; and his mother-in-law Theresa Hilliard. He is survived by: his wife Luanne Cardinal; his children, Paula Huppe (Aaron) of Sanford, Maine and Jeff Knight (Heidi) of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Jessica Clark, Megan Cote, Gavin Knight and Callie Huppe (William Speltz); his great grandchildren, Bennett Dean, Shelby Almanzan and Ella Marchisio; and his sisters-in-law, Pal Cardinal and Leanne Hourihane (Mark). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rochester Elks Lodge (295 Columbus Ave, Rochester, NH 03867).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Rene's memory by sharing a meal with someone you love—or dancing to a 1950s tune in his honor.
