It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Burton Briggs of Franklin, New Hampshire, born in Nashua, New Hampshire, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Edward Briggs and Ruth Briggs (Parks); and his former wife Marjorie Briggs (Walker). He is survived by: his children, Robert Briggs (Kimberly) of Franklin and Catherine Riley (Mark) of Hampstead, NH; his grandchildren, Ashley Briggs (Matthew Compton) of Bent Mountain, VA, Kira Reisdorf (John) of Portsmouth, Erin Russell (Mike) of Dorchester, MA and Robbie Briggs (Meghann) of Brighton, MI.; his fiancée Barbara Hewitt of Swanzey; and his sister Norma Dill of Lincoln, ME. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
