He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Dempski and A. Lillian Dempski (Horgan); his siblings, Gerald Dempski and Helen Ober; and his son-in-law Thomas Levenson.

He is survived by : his wife Joyce Dempski; his sister Alice (Wayne Hawksworth); his daughters, Christine (John Swenson), Suzanne Dempski, Stephanie (David Marrama) and Andrea Levenson; and his grandchildren, Aaron, Nathan, Tori and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
